As a Data Engineer II, you’ll work on large-scale data projects, including data warehouses, data marts, and data pipelines, while collaborating with experts to drive effective change in the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large-scale data developments, data warehouses, operational data stores, and data marts
• Develop and implement data pipelines
• Manage system specifications and quality data management
• Write complex code for data management tasks and DML/ DAL pipelines
• Implement master, reference, and metadata solutions
• Work on data pipeline solutions with high complexity
• Collaborate on project planning and design phases
• Build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders
• Leverage technology to meet business needs and produce high-quality outputs within deadlines

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 3-5 years in a similar environment, with 1-2 years at a mid/senior level
• Experience with Ab-initio and Teradata (advantageous)
• Data unit testing experience
• Experience in SQL languages
• Finance or banking experience is a plus
• Experience in database performance optimization, tuning, and analysis
• Knowledge of cloud computing and modern data engineering principles
